Rimot Attracts Senior Leader to Accelerate Growth into 2021

Trevor Hennigar joins Rimot as Chief Operating Officer

DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA (December 8, 2020) – With momentum building in both sales and new product lines, technology start-up Rimot has added entrepreneur Trevor Hennigar to its leadership team as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

“After four years of hard work, Rimot is successfully attracting major customers such as Canadian Coast Guard, Acadian Seaplants, and a variety of sizeable organizations across Canada and the United States,” said Andrew Boswell, Rimot’s co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). “As our new COO, Trevor will help Rimot build on a strong foundation and pursue new growth opportunities for the future. Trevor’s experience and understanding in operations, strategy and capital are tremendous assets for our company and our customers.”

As a business leader involved with regional organizations like Creative Destructive Lab (CDL)- Atlantic, Trevor actively engages in the growth of Atlantic Canadian technology companies. Trevor has a history of enabling the success of small-to-medium sized enterprises with ties to Atlantic Canada through his previously held leadership role with Hawthorne Capital. Prior to that Trevor held critical roles in the development, engineering and construction of large wind energy projects in the province.

Trevor holds an MBA from Queen’s University and an Engineering Degree from Dalhousie University.
